Dread Zeppelin was a reggae Led Zeppelin cover band fronted by a 300 pound Elvis impersonator named Tortelvis. Any part of that not make sense?

To be clear, however, this is not exactly true for the second album mentioned here, It’s Not Unusual. Tortelvis left the band, the bass player stepped into both the singing and Elvis impersonator roles (although not into the late-Elvis-overweight role) and the band’s source material switched from mostly Zep to mostly Disco. So a few changes.

I can't resist one final observation: when Tortelvis departed, was there any thought of finding another, outside-the-group, Elvis impersonator? I ask because there would have been plenty to choose from, given the Elvis impersonator field’s tendency towards a high Elvis-impersonator to Elvis-impersonator-jobs ratio. Just a thought.
